Prof. Hopkins has over 25 years experience in transmission pipeline engineering. He is responsible for the technical leadership of pipeline integrity related business within Penspen. He also provides high level management, technical consultancy, and training.

Skills include change management, pipeline management systems, failure investigation, expert witness, risk and reliability, safety management, surveillance, fatigue, fracture, inspection, and maintenance.

Roland Palmer-Jones

Roland Palmer-Jones has 14 years experience of research, development, and consultancy in the oil and gas industry. Since 1996 he has specialised in pipeline integrity. He has extensive experience of onshore and offshore, oil, gas and petrochemical pipelines around the world.

His areas of interest include: pipeline integrity assessment, pipeline repair methods, pipeline defect assessment, pipeline structural analysis, analysis of intelligent pig reports, pipeline maintenance and operation, pipeline management systems, pipeline risk based inspection, pipeline design and operation audit, and training.

Graham Goodfellow

Graham Goodfellow is a mechanical engineer with over 13 years experience in quantitative risk assessment, structural integrity assessment and the development of risk and reliability based asset management strategies for mechanical and structural systems in the oil & gas and other industries.

His areas of interest are quantitative risk assessment, reliability studies and pipeline integrity.

Susannah Turner

Susannah Turner has 13 years experience in the oil and gas industry, having worked in consultancy, research and offshore operations. Recent work has concentrated on pipeline integrity and risk management strategies.

Skills and experience include pipeline integrity assessment, risk and reliability methods, pipeline management, offshore pipeline inspection, pipeline design, decision making strategies, and maintenance and inspection planning. Susannah also has qualifications and experience in education and training.
