PDAT - Pipeline Defect Assessment Toolkit

The Pipeline Defect Assessment Toolkit is a set of tools for pipeline engineers which allows them to apply best practice methods for analysing defects in pipelines. PDAT is based on the Pipeline Defect Assessment Manual (PDAM).

PDAT Lite

Tools for pipeline engineers. Modules to be included:

• Isolated Corrosion Defects - calculate Safe Working Pressure
• Plain Dents - calculate fatigue life
• Girth Weld Defects - calculate defect length limits
• Gouges - calculate Safe Working Pressure

PDAT Lite provides best practice methods in defect assessment in a quality assured, simple to use low cost package.

The current version of PDAT Lite provides a fully quality assured module for assessing single corrosion defects using the 'Modified B.31.G' method, in accordance with the guidance given in the Pipeline Defect Assessment Manual.

You can download a free trial version of the software. In order to continue using this software once the trial period has expired, a license must be purchased. A single user license costs £250.
